I recently attended the SOHO/SME conference in Toronto. To my surprise the main topics of the day were online marketing and specifically why business need SEO and a viable social media presence to succeed in this growing online world. One of the Keynote speakers was the head of Facebook Canada and Sir Richard Branson. Both spoke on this subject and gave some really good pointers and tips and as you could imagine Sir Richard Branson drew the biggest crowd. However in my opinion the real cream of the “speaking” crop for that day was a very well known online marketing guru Paul Tobey.
Being in the online marketing business and knowing and somewhat preaching to many businesses on why you must get on board with online marketing, nothing of what was said that day was new to me. Enter Paul Tobey. First of all opposed to the usual get up and just power point and speak presentations, Paul Tobey had no power point and no notes to speak from but delivered a highly informative and energetic presentation which kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire presentation. What people learned from him was useful and realistic strategies to promote your business online and the strategy to achieve this. After his presentation I was impressed about how many people flocked to him for advice, me included. Being so impressed by what he was teaching I promptly signed up for his 2 day marketing and mastery course and his 3 day intensive Advanced internet marketing course for a grand total of over $4000! Which I am investing in myself for my own knowledge and to pass on these proven techniques to our clients. Honestly I can’t wait to learn from this guy to see these strategies work and I am confident that I will learn well over $4000 worth of great online marketing tips and tricks to pass on to anyone looking to “create more interest in your business online”
